Yachay Studies is the nature mysticism school of Eagle Condor Council.
Through Yachay Studies, we carry the virtue of yachay (YAH-chai; wisdom) through direct study of Andean and Indigenous lineages. Our educational offerings are built for those ready to walk this path with rigor and care.
Yachay Studies began with a question.
After years immersed in Native teachings across North and South America, Jeff Firewalker wondered what it would look like to bring this wisdom to people carrying the weight of others’ healing. He formed Yachay Studies’ first offering, the Eagle Condor Healing Intensive, as his answer.
What began as a single program has grown into a full course of study — from foundational teachings to advanced practitioner training — each rooted in extensive apprenticeship with Indigenous healing practitioners. Yachay Studies supports people already in service to others: healers, educators, therapists, and community leaders looking for tools their educations never gave them.
Yachay (YAH-chai), n. : Sacred wisdom
A Quechua term for wisdom gained through direct experience. The Andean belief that true knowledge is lived and embodied, not simply studied.
Yachay Studies puts wisdom into action.
Many of our students are licensed healthcare professionals and healing arts practitioners looking to deepen their capacity without burning out. But not all come from this background, and there is no pre-requisite for learning other than an open heart and mind.
Programs have been developed in partnership with Andean and Native American lineage carriers, introducing students to the core tools, practices, and worldview of nature mysticism. Yachay Studies offers four primary paths of education:
Healing Intensives
