In the year 2000, Abenaki Elder Lightning shared sacred teachings with Sierra McFeeters and several others. Sierra passes these teachings on as a way of remembering the rhythms of nature and how interwoven we are with them.
The teachings that will be shared in this Zoom class will encourage us, support us, and give us a reference point for connecting deeper to our Earth Mother and caring more lovingly for her.
It is Sierra’s honor to share how this knowledge is woven through indigenous culture. We will walk around the wheel, talking about each direction, and how you can use this knowledge in your life, in a real way. She will share the prayer with you that arises from these teachings, and if time allows, also share songs that honor each direction.
