Jen Worthen

Jen Worthen has been a close friend and collaborator for a decade. She is one of the most gifted, dedicated and heart-centered practitioners of Paqokuna and Peruvian Curanderiasmo that we have had the honor to work with. Jen is unwavering in her dedication to helping people live more happy healthy lives. It is with great enthusiasm and delight that we welcome Jen as a Wisdom Carrier and Collaborator.

Jennifer Worthen, LPC, MT-BC, FAMI is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Board-Certified Music Therapist and a Fellow with the Association of Music and Imagery. She has also trained in the use of an assessment tool utilizing ancient archetypal symbols and mandalas. Furthermore, she credits her training in the modality of the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (which is how she obtained the FAMI credential) as being instrumental in setting on her path of personal and collective healing, as well as being the work that introduced her to the power of the non-ordinary state of consciousness.

Jen began her study of indigenous wisdom and folk healing in 2006 when she began her apprenticeship in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition with don Jason Blaesing and don Oscar Miro-Quesada Solevo. Since that time, she has been dedicated to healing and medicine work in various forms and has been lucky enough to find friends and mentors such as Jeff Firewalker and Ellen Kittredge to assist her in her continued learning of these old and sacred ways. Jen has a small private practice in which she weaves together her healing alter/mesa, counseling techniques and music or vibratory offerings in humble service to the empowerment of whomever shows up. She is grateful and happy to become an EC Collaborator.
